Visit the observation decks of any of the tall buildings in Lujiazui to get a great view of Shanghai. Most are more than 100 RMB to visit but it needs to be done at least once. Just make sure to go when the weather is clear.
Together, the Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, Jin Mao Tower and the Oriental Pearl Tower are part of the Lujiazui skyline seen from the Bund.
The Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower (Chinese: 东方明珠塔; pinyin: Dōngfāng Míngzhūtǎ, official name: 东方明珠广播电视塔). Construction began in 1991, and the tower was completed in 1994. At 468 m high, it was the tallest structure in China from 1994–2007, when it was surpassed by the Shanghai World Financial Center.
