Valentines Day is around the corner and obviously most of you have started booking or at least thinking of a place to take your love.
This Valentines day, I thought of listing some of the most romantic restaurants of all times, around the world; Most or all of them are extremely high end & seem out of reach for now. Here’s a list if you’d like to do the same. Happy Valentine’s Day!
1. CLOS MAGGIORE (LONDON)
The stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany in Italy influence ‘Clos Maggiore’. The unique interiors create an unparalleled warmth and seclusion. The apple blossom garlanded conservatory features a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space in summer months and in winter months it is transformed at night by candles, starlight and a crackling fireplace. Doesn’t this sound like the perfect place to take the love of your life with wedding bells on your mind & a ring your pocket?
2.RESTAURANT LE MEURICE ALAIN DUCASSE (PARIS)
This restaurant boasts of 3 Michelin stars and a decadent atmosphere. Its impressive décor features crystal chandeliers, frescos & marbles. There is a romantic elegance in its refined timeless décor. And then, there is the enchanting view, which materializes through large windows overlooking the neighbouring Jardin des Tuileries. Its romance factor is down to its location; Not only is it in Paris, but it also offers spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower. This place can just not go wrong for a Valentine’s evening.
3. ONE IF BY LAND, TWO IF BY SEA (NEW YORK)
This upscale American restaurant is known to be one of the city’s most romantic. One if by Land, Two if by Sea has been recognized for its classic menu, long history and beautiful decor. The decor features candlelit tables, fireplaces, a baby grand piano and a private garden. The restaurant operates inside a historic, landmarked carriage house built in 1767.
4. LE SIRENUSE (POSITANO, ITALY)
Perched on the hills leading down to the Amalfi Coast, in the heart of postcard-perfect town of Positano, Le Sirenuse awaits its guests in a warm and inviting atmosphere, yet with all the luxury amenities of a high-end hotel. The hotel features a fabulous Michelin restaurant that offers guests exceptional local and Mediterranean cuisine in outstanding surroundings.
5. FANSANO, URUGUAY
Fasano restaurant is a dining destination for couples who want to get away from it all. In Punta del Este in Uruguay, it is part of Hotel Fasano Las Piedras, but is a short drive from the main property. Housed in an old farmhouse on a 480-acre site, its wooden floors and ceilings add a simple, rustic feeling. Very private and discreet. Perfect for a honeymoon date!
