My name is Kit, I am from Bangkok, Thailand. I have been here since July 2015 and will be staying for at least one and a half years. What I like about Shanghai is that it is a city that foreigners do not feel alienated, there are many opportunities around the corner if you know where to look. I heard about Miracle Mandarin (MM) from my siblings who had studied in Miracle Mandarin as well. So far, I would recommend MM to anyone who wants to learn Mandarin in Shanghai since my Chinese has improved drastically and effortlessly during the past 4 months, from not being able to converse at all to being able to respond and understand the context in 50% of the encounters. I have made some very good friends here and I hope Miracle Mandarin would have more activities for socializing. If Miracle Mandarin could find a balance between attracting a more varied group of individual plus socializing space and the Chinese teaching (which I already find it great), it would be a perfect place for anyone to attend Miracle Mandarin.
