Miracle Mandarin has the best and fastest method to learn to read Chinese characters and develop Chinese reading skills. Miracle Mandarin reading teaching method is especially effective for those who has basic spoken mandarin skill but not able to read Chinese.
The first stage of Miracle Mandarin reading program will quickly build up your confidence in reading Chinese characters and help later to improve your Chinese level in both speaking and reading.
Upon completion of our reading course students will master 1,500 to 2,200 characters and make it easy to go on further study of Chinese and can read ads, menus, messages, instructions, articles of Chinese magazines and newspapers, etc.
Learning Goals of 4 Levels of reading Program:
- Level 1: to recognize a minimum of 500 Chinese characters and read simple, short passages.
- Level 2: to master 900 to 1,000 Chinese characters and read simple stories, notice or message in Chinese characters
- Level 3: to master 1,500 to 1,600 Chinese characters and their related words;
to read long articles in Chinese with the help of a dictionary. - Level 4: to master 1,900 to 2,200 Chinese characters and can read ads, menus, articles of Chinese magazines and newspapers.
Class size: 4 to 6 students
Schedule: For reading course, after doing a placement test and a trial lesson, student may join a class on any Monday. Normal course is 2 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
