I. Student Visa

Miracle Mandarin provides papers for students to get student visa.
Students who need student visa are required to
1) enroll in Miracle Mandarin for a minimum 3 months fulltime mandarin course;
2) pay off all the fees in advance;
3) abide by all the rules and regulations of the school and Chinese law.

To get a student visa:
1) send an application form and a copy of your passport;
2) get an admission letter;
3) pay all the fees (tuition, registration fee, visa fee, postage if needed);
4) get the JW 202 visa application form from the school
5) with the admission letter, the JW202 form, go the Chinese embassy in your country to get visa done.

II. Residence Permit

If you need to get a living permit in Shanghai, you need to do the following:

1. Documents needed
   1) Passport
   2) Admission Notice (from school)
   3) JW202 or JW201 visa application form (from school)
   4) Physical examination report
   5) The Introduction Letter for Foreign Students (from school)
   6) One passport-sized photo
   7) 400 RMB
   8) Temporary Accommodation Registration Form (provided by local police, only needed for students who live off-campus)
2. Place and time
   Foreign students, who enter China with X visa, should finish the procedures to apply for residence permit within 30 days after entering China. Foreign students, who hold F or L visa and need to change for X visa, should finish the procedures to apply for residence permit before the visa expires. If you fail to finish the procedures in time, you will be fined.
   The department to process your residence permit application is Exit-Entry Bureau of Shanghai Public Security Bureau.
