Will I need a Visa to study in China? |

As long as you hold a legal visa, not necessarily student visa, you can study in China within the valid period of your visa. |

How do I get a Visa from the school? |
| 1) |
After enroll in Miracle Mandarin and pay all the fees, the school will send you documents for visa and you can go to the local Chinese embassy to get a visa. |

Or get a tourist visa first and enroll after you arrive China, the school will help to change your visa into studying visa.
Please note that the school only issue visa papers for students who registered over 3months language program or intern program. |

How long does it take to get a Visa? |

It’s 3 to 4 weeks from enrollment done to get the visa done. |
| |
Visa processing times can vary from country to country, so you should allow adequate time to obtain your China Visa. Please check with the Chinese Embassy or Consulate nearest you. |

What if I don't get my Visa in time for the program for which I've applied? |
| |
If you do not receive your Visa in time for the program for which you are enrolled, you may postpone to another Chinese Language program (ONE TIME ONLY) provided you give Miracle Mandarin one month's written notice. Please note that the application fee and the program deposit are non-refundable. In case of visa refusal only, please see refund policy below. |

What are Miracle mandarin teachers’ qualifications? |

Miracle Mandarin teachers are all university degree holders in language or language teaching. Most of the staffs hold master degree in TCSL which are required by China National Educational Department.And every teacher is properly trained with Miracle Mandarin method of teaching Chinese as a second language. |

The class is taught without speaking English or another intermediary language. It is total emersion in a Chinese leaning environment so every student can learn very fast. |

What is the difference between long-term courses and short-term courses? |
| |
Long term course means longer than 6 months course. |
| |
There are 3 semesters in one year starting in 2009. One semester is 3 months. |

Students need to enroll in a semester one month before starting date. |
| |
Short term crash course means 4 weeks to 8 weeks course. Students can enroll on any Monday after level assessment as long as there is a place available in the class with appropriate level. |

If I miss some lessons, could I have make-up class? |

Not for group class. |

I have applied to Miracle Mandarin using the online application form, does it means I already registered? |

If not then what should I do?
We’ll contact you after we receive your online application form. Then you need either fax the forms and picture or come to school to do the paper work, and then do the payment to finish the enrollment. |

If I take intensive course, when I can pass HSK 6? |

For a total beginner, it takes 12 to 15 months full time study, depending on different individuals |

I want to take 4 weeks intensive course, but the second week I can not make the class, so what we can do for the missing hours? |

If you notice the school before the course starts regarding which days you are absent, our course consultant can help to arrange a tutor to help you to catch up. The absent week can’t be extended. |

About Accommodation |

Do you offer accommodation? |

Not for non-degree students at this moment. |
| |
We help to arrange hotels nearby the school when student first arrive Shanghai. The cost is about 30 to 40 dollars a day for our student, with English service & wireless internet service. |

Can you arrange home stay for me? What is the cost for home stay? |
| |
We do arrange home stay for our students from 1 month to 6months. |
| |
The school charges a one time placement service fee. The home stay family’s cost varies depending different situations of the family. |

What are the school cancellation and refund policies? |
| |
It is the student's responsibility to notify Miracle Mandarin changes in plans before his/her program starts. Requests to cancel a program must be made in writing to the Miracle Mandarin with a brief explanation for the withdrawal of the course. |

Refused a Chinese Visa: |

Those participants who are refused a Visa to China will receive a full refund on their program fee, not the application fee & the cost to send the money back, provided that written notice prior the start of the program and the original visa rejection documents issued by the Chinese Consulate Office are given to Miracle Mandarin. |

How can I pay? |
| |
Full Payment must be received by the school upon your registration. If you live in China, you may come to our school to pay by cash or by credit card. If you live outside China or you can not come to school to pay, you may pay by bank transfer or by paypal, which 3% extra you need to pay for the handling cost. |
